How I design my posts
My posts are prepared with the help of AI, and I remain solely in charge of, and responsible for, what is published.
- Sources first. Every news brief and every opinion piece starts from articles and announcements I can cite. The sources are kept with the text. I have a Grok Bot agent that constantly watches the topics that matter to me. I can also run it on a specific topic, or ask it to follow a defined topic or a current one. The Grok Bot agent offers a list of starting topics drawn from its harvest.
- Brainstorming. I dig into the proposed topics together with Grok 4.7 Expert and Claude Fable 5.1 high. This lets me sharpen my angle, build a base of sources, and weigh the pros and cons of one format over another for a given topic. I then choose to write an opinion piece, a news brief, an in-depth article, or a series of articles.
- Writing. Once the brainstorming is done, Grok writes the first draft. I chose it because it is less polished and less biased than Claude. Its style is Anglo-Saxon and raw. That calls for a thorough review to remove anglicisms from my French texts, and unsuitable wording. It forces me to apply my own vision to material that is imperfect by nature. I chose this method to complement the experience I have built over thousands of pieces written since the early 1990s.
- My approval. I read and approve every final version before it is published. Nothing goes out without my approval, and an approved text is not rewritten. This step matters a great deal to avoid duplicating other writers. It is mandatory when designing series whose episodes can change with the news.
- Images and voices. Illustrations are generated by Grok. Videos use an ElevenLabs synthetic voice or, depending on the case, voices generated by Grok Imagine/Video. So as not to mislead the reader, this is always stated.
- Publishing. Claude schedules the posts at the planned times, using each platform's own tools.
AI saves me time on writing and logistics. The choice of topics, the angle, the opinions expressed, and the decision to publish remain entirely mine. Every reply to readers is written by me alone.
AI does not make a good filmmaker. AI does not make a good developer. AI does not make a good writer. A good professional multiplies their professional abilities with AI.
